These House Rules are considered a part of our reservation agreement with you. As our guest, by completing your reservation you are agreeing to abide by all of our House Rules and Terms and Conditions. We want everyone to be courteous to fellow guests, the property and us. If this happens, we all have a good time!

Please Note: If you find any issues with your room upon arrival, please notify us immediately, before commencing occupancy. We will rectify them right away. Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway will not honor or be liable for claims regarding conditions made after occupancy has commenced.
Before 10:00 am, please. Additional day charge plus tax may apply for late checkout. Please leave the keys in the room and the doors locked.
Parking for registered guests is free. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the property. If a vehicle is left in the parking lot after the guest has departed without our consent, we reserve the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
WIFI access is free. WIFI signals are subject to change without notice depending on the status of our equipment, the status of the service provider, and signal interference. Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway assumes no liability for guest use or interruption of service.
ACCESS AND SERVICES
Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway is in a desert location, which is sometimes subject to extreme weather conditions and events. Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway is not liable for blocked access to or from the property, or for any disruption in services, including power, gas, water and internet. We will of course do our best to make the best of any circumstances that may occur.
EXTRA BEDS AND CRIBS
A Pack-n-Play crib is available at no extra charge.
As the parents, guardians, or chaperones of children you are personally and legally responsible for and must supervise them at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or allow them to roam the property unsupervised.
Smoking of any product by any method is prohibited in all suites and the pool area. Smoking in suites will result in a $400 cleaning fee.
NO CANDLES, INCENSE, ESSENTIAL OILS
Candles, incense, and essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a $400 cleaning fee accessed.
LOTIONS AND BODY OILS
If you use any type of lotions, including sunscreens and any types of body oils, please wash them off before contact with towels and bedding. These products are frequently difficult or impossible to wash off. A replacement charge for any damaged linens or towels of the cost plus 20% will be deducted from the card on file.
10:00 p.m. to 9 a.m. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No congregating in suites or common areas during quiet hours.
No visitors allowed.
No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisances are allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the premises without refund.
NO COMBUSTIBLES OR FIREWORKS
Open fires, flames, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on the property. Cooking is permitted on the outdoor grills and indoor appliances provided by the property only.
For safety and sanitary reasons, and out of respect for fellow guests, no pets of any kind are permitted on the premises. If pets are reported or discovered on the property, the guest will be asked to leave the premises without refund. Service dogs as defined by the ADA are exempt, however emotional support animals are not.
Your comfort is very important to us, and so is the environment. Towels and linens are not changed unless you have booked a stay in excess of 5 nights and have requested it. In that case, housekeeping will be happy to change your towels bed linens.
For safety, our Swimming Pool area has a camera. Our swimming pool is available for registered guests only. Visitors are not permitted in the swimming pool or pool area. Adult supervision is required for all children under the age of 13. No lifeguard on duty. Please refer to the posted rules at the pool area and room cards for more use guidelines and rules – those guidelines and rules are considered a part of our House Rules.
LOST & FOUND POLICY
Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings, and is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item. Items found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to 14 days. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you upon request. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage, plus a $10.00 handling fee. Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment. Perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded.
FIREARMS AND WEAPONS
Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway is private property, and the use of firearms and weapons is strictly forbidden. If guests who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm or weapon bring such onto our premises, it is for storage purposes only, with the understanding that they are personally responsible for the following:
- Guests must abide by all Federal, State, and local laws.
- Firearms and weapons must be appropriately registered.
- Firearms must be unloaded.
- No cleaning of firearms is permitted on premises.
- Firearms and weapons must be safeguarded and secured in either a locked, hard sided firearm container or a soft gun case provided by the guest at all times and clearly labeled with their name and contact information.
Guests who fail to abide by our policy may be asked to leave the premises without refund, are subject to trespass and may be subject to further legal action.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OR FIRE
The suites are fully equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. In case of fire or emergency, please dial 911, and notify us immediately.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF PROPERTY
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the suite(s), premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at Spin & Margie’s during your stay. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting a specialist to make repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum, however the charges made to your card are at the sole discretion of Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway.
DAMAGE TO ROOM
Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishings, equipment, mattresses, bedding, towels, art work, etc. will be charged at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular suite. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, a deep cleaning fee of $300 may be assessed and/or criminal charges will be pursued.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service or evict anyone for any reason. Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the State of California and the owners for the operation and management of the property.
ACCESS TO ROOMS
Management reserves the right to enter a room for reasonable purposes, such as an emergency, housekeeping, maintenance, verifying that the room, its furnishings, and equipment are intact, or to address or prevent a violation of our House Rules. In the event of suspected illegal activity, management reserves the right to summon law enforcement to aid in eviction. The right to privacy ends when a House Rule is broken.
ILLNESS AND EPIDEMICS
Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway reserves the right to refuse accommodations to a guest arriving with a contagious disease. Please notify us in cases where sickness occurs during the stay. In the case of serious sickness, you may be requested to receive appropriate health care from a nearby healthcare facility. During epidemics we are entitled to employ precautionary measures within our judgment or as required by local authorities. We may charge you a room cleaning fee as we deem appropriate under the circumstances.
The cleanliness of our rooms is extremely important to our guests. If you bring any infestation into your room or onto our hotel premises, we may charge you for any and all costs and expenses, including immediate or urgent response requirements and loss of room revenue, that we deem necessary to address the infestation.
CHANGES TO HOUSE RULES
Spin & Margie’s Desert Hideaway reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, or add to these House Rules or the content featured on our Hotel website at any time without prior notice. Please check our website regularly for updates to House Rules. Any modification to these House Rules that occurs prior to your departure is considered a part of your reservation agreement with us.
